This MS program is the result of an MOU between Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) and a consortium of VLSI companies consisting of AMD, GD Microsystems and VEDA Institute of Information Technology (VEDAIIT), Hyderabad. They have agreed to collaborate in Design, Development , Implementation and offering of the MS Program in VLSI Engineering and any other relevant specialization that may be offered to further widen the scope of the partnership.

		GD Microsystems - an STPI registered, 100% EOU, company working in the area of VLSI Engineering. GD Micro is a VLSI Services company that offers end to end solution from spec to GDSII for international clients. GD Micro is recognized for its focused strength in the areas of functional verification & physical design.


		APSCHE - Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, Government of A.P., is engaged in developing student centered higher education, focusing on the Networking of Teaching, Research and Corporate Systems so as to synergize their functions, share their resources and promote infusion of Information Technology in all the courses. APSCHE facilitated the MS Program in VLSI Engineering by bringing the partners into the MOU.


		Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University - The first technological university of india. It offers innovative engineering programs that promote industry - Institute co-operation. JNTU is monitoring this program and awarding the degree. Accredited as an "A" grade University by NAAC.
